How determined are you to find a job?

If you’ve been out of work for any length of time then there is a danger of just giving up especially when there is a recession on. After all the news seems to highlight redundancies everywhere, companies closing down so what’s the use? I know just how you feel. I’ve been felt like that on more than one occasion I can tell you!

When we are so involved with our own problems it is often difficult to see the bigger picture. Do you remember a time when you used to play with jigsaw puzzles (perhaps you still do!)? When you tried to piece the puzzle together without looking at the box cover it seemed very daunting didn’t it. As soon as you reminded yourself of what you are aiming for the whole process got better. It is very much the same as job hunting.

One of the best ways to prevent yourself from getting down is to mix with positive and lively people. Try and join a group of like-minded people because this will boost your morale beyond your expectations. Above all, steer clear of negatively-charged people as they are a real drain on energy levels.

Always remember that there are some people who are not quite so fortunate as you and yet they have ‘moved mountains’ to reach their goals. Many of them are not necessarily glamorous or famous and yet they can be a source of motivation for you. Have a look at the following video and I guarantee you’ll stop complaining about how impossible the job situation is.
