With the down turn in the economy, unscrupulous people are taking advantage of the situation by placing attractive adverts in newspapers, direct mail, websites and email by scamming people. They offer some great looking work from home ‘opportunities’ where you can do things like stuff envelopes, ‘guaranteed’ wins at competitions etc. The only problem is that they require you to part with some money up front.

Beware of any employment opportunity where you need to pay them money to get money. If you think about it it doesn’t really make any sense does it? If the opportunity is bona-fide then these people surely must be getting some commissions for recruiting you.
